Arriving safely and comfortably
The Zillertal is the broadest and the most southern side valley of the Tyrolean Inntal. Only a slight ascent from Strass (522 metres), beginning of the valley, to Mayrhofen (628 metres) can be remarked. That’s why we can guarantee that your apartment in the Zillertal is also easily reachable in winter.
Travelling by car:
East and North: From Munich/Salzbourg/Vienna on the A1, A8 and A93 to Kiefersfelden. Continue on the A12 (ATTENTION: Badge needed) till the exit Zillertal or without a badge via the Achenpass on the B181 Achenseestraße till Wiesing. Then head on B169 to the Zillertal. From Zell am Ziller continue direction Gerlospass, on B165 till Gerlos/Gmünd. The Ferienhof is located on the left hand-side after about 900 metres.
West: Take the A12 from Vorarlberg/Innsbruck till the exit Zillertal. Continue on the B169 to the Zillertal. From Zell am Ziller continue direction Gerlospass. Head on B165 till Gerlos/Gmünd. The Ferienhof is located on the left hand-side after circa 900 metres.
South: Take the A10 from Klagenfurt to Salzbourg. Take the A9 from Graz to Liezen. Then the A10 to Salzbourg or till the exit Bischofshofen (See above for more information, East and North).
Travelling by train: Take the Eurocity train to Jenbach. Then get on the Zillertalbahn till the final stop Mayrhofen. The public service vehicle runs on a regular basis and brings you directly to the Ferienhof Gerlos.

DB car-carrying train of the Deutsche Bahn (German Railway Company):
From Berlin, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Hildesheim to Munich or Innsbruck (depends on the season) by the DB car-carrying train of the Deutsche Bahn without hurrying. Continue on the A12 Inntalautobahn direction Kufstein till the exit Zillertal. Then follow our directions of “travelling by car”.

The airports Innsbruck (50 km), Munich (170 km) and Salzbourg (150 km) are in close proximity to the Zillertal and connected to destinations all over Europe by daily scheduled flights. The airport transfer brings you directly to the Ferienhof Gerlos.
